What is Wrong with Hyphen???

In watching the game yesterday, I noticed that Hyphen (Ryan Rowland-Smith) was displaying yet another poor Spring Training outing. A couple of solo HRs -- Manny's first and one to Brad Ausmus -- and no life to his pitches really suggested something more than spring rustiness is going on.

In the comment section at Prospect Insider, Jason mentions that a scout at the game reported his velocity at 85-87 in the first inning. I agree. YIKES!

C'mon Hyphen -- if there's something hurtin' ya, LET PEOPLE KNOW. Don't eff up your long-term career potential by trying to play through pain.
