Welcome Back, Welcome Back, Welcome Baaaack
Ken Griffey Junior is returning to Seattle.
More later. Believe me, I've been trying to write about this for the last several weeks. I'll just let that photo say the first 1000 words.
Who said there's no crying in baseball? Well, sorry, you're wrong!

I'm glad he's back.
I'm not sure it will do much for the win column, but if this season might be more about developing a foundation for future success than about winning right now, the addition of Griffey comes at a decent time.
He will put fans in the seats, he will provide some leadership by example, and he will do his very best in the field and at the plate, always. I think we will all soon be saying there is still a lot of "kid" left in The Kid.
From the P-I : "It went up and stayed in the sun and stayed there and stayed there," Griffey said. "If I had gotten hit in the head it probably would have evened up the playing field for the gentlemen who are not as handsome as I am. I didn't want it so my wife wouldn't recognize me."
Good stuff, Junior. Keep on channeling Bone and it'll be an entertaining year.
Assuming you stay healthy and productive and they don't play you in LF too often...
